Speaking to Boamah Darko, host of Political talk show on Accra-based Hot 93.9FM, the Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the ruling party, Devine Otoo Agorhom why they would win the Greater Accra Region by indicating that:
“Giving the excellent performance of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government and the sacrifices we have made no Ghanaian can say Akufo-Addo has deceived them, even with the unexpected COVID 19 pandemic..In 2016 we were coming with a candidate who has not been President before so we were praying to God and relying on campaign promises that will help Ghanaians but as we speak now, it is no more about promises we have campaign  promises for the future and a solid truck record that speaks for us’.
According to the NPP stalwart, the party has repositioned itself to canvass more votes to wrest additional parliamentary seats in the Greater Accra Region.

“In Greater Accra as a region, we are maintaining our 21 seats because we are campaigning and we know what is happening at the various constituencies and we are fishing in the stock of the opponents and we are hoping that a minimum of 24 seats shall be won..but don’t be surprised if at the end of the elections we amass 27 seats in Greater Accra’.
