In a rather unprecedented move, President Akufo-Addo is set to tour the North East Region Together with the Vice President, Mahamudu Bawumia.
The move, unprecedented in the sense that the President and Vice normally do not travel together for security reasons, have been deemed by the Alan Kyerematen faction as an unfair move by the President to Support Dr Bawumia’s bid for President.
The President and Vice President, as part of their tour will pay a courtesy call on the Overlord of Mamprugu, Nayiri Bohagu Abdulai Mahami Sheriga.
The two-day tour commences on Tuesday, 22nd and ends on Wednesday 23rd June 2021.
