Famous Hollywood Entrepreneur Michael B. Pratt Enstolled As Nana Dakrabo I, Mpuntuhene, Sets To Bring Hollywood To Ghana

Michael B. Pratt, a business mogul born in the United States of America, specifically Los Angeles is set to build an ultra-modern film studio in Ghana. The facility is said to have an estimated value of $350 million and will sit on a land area of 321 acres.

The entrepreneur was enstooled as a development chief in the Asebu kingdom in the Central region of Ghana. Following his new status, Mr Pratt will now be addressed by the Royal name Nana Dakrabo I, Mpuntuhene (which literally translates as Development Chief).

He promised to replicate Hollywood in the west African country with a state-of-the-art facility upon completion. “I was born in Los Angeles and raised around celebrities and executives. Essentially, I was raised around Hollywood and now I will bring Hollywood to Ghana,” he said.

He revealed that the project will be constructed in collaboration with Washington D.C based WEG Studios together with popular figures such as musician and producer Koby Maxwell, actor Michael Blackson and many others.

The facility will be named Dakrabo 1 Studios. He stated in an INSTAGRAM POST that, the facility will have features such as a film & music school, screening theatres, a concert hall, office space, a hotel forecast and crews, and most importantly, seven soundstages, a 240-acre backlot, a blue-screen water tank, a recording studio, pre/post-production facilities.
