Police Arrest Aputuogya Robbery Suspects Threatening to Harm Residents

The Ghana Police Service, in a statement, has confirmed the arrest of two suspected armed robbers who went viral on social media in a video threatening residents of their activities.

In the said video sighted by hotfmghana.com, the two suspects Kwame Sarpong and Ibrahim Mohammed were seen with machetes and knives threatening to harm whoever resisted them during robberies. 

The two suspects, who identify themselves as ‘Aputuogya gangsters,’ were arrested at their hideout in Aputuogya, Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region.

They are currently in police custody, assisting with investigations.
