Video: Residents Of Atebubu Share Water With Animals

Residents of Atebubu in the Bono Region have been hit with a severe water crisis which  is exposing them to potential water borne diseases.
Due to the lack of water especially during the dry season, the citizens have no choice than to fetch water from Tuse; a dam which Fulani herdsmen usually take their cows to drink.
The people use the same water for cooking, drinking, washing, bathing etc .The problem has existed for several years with politicians using the sad situation for their political gains, yet nothing positive has been done.
Speaking to Hot 93.9FM’s news reporter Osiadan Nana Asamoah, some of the citizens with much disdain said the situation is unbearable especially for public sector workers, hence a lot of them refuse posting to that area.
They appealed to the government to, as a matter of urgency, drill boreholes for them.
