Video:When Will You Stop Letting Women Watch You Play In Fear?-Black Stars Questioned

The Black Stars of Ghana on Monday recorded their first win in the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar against South Korea.

Ghana’s sensational Player, Mohammed Kudus rose to the occasion, found himself at the end of a Gideon Mensah cross and curled the ball past the South Korean’s goalkeeper to restore Ghana’s lead and eventually sealed the game for Black Stars.

Despite late attempts from the Koreans, the game ended 3-2 with Ghana earning a vital win in Group H. It was the much-needed win for Ghanaians who were largely sitting on tenterhooks for the final quarter of the game.

The 68th-minute winner triggered a thunderous celebration across the country and on social media.Reacting how she felt after the game, award-winning Ghanaian female broadcaster, Nana Adwoa Annan questioned why the Black Stars must always let Ghanaians especially women go through anxiety while watching them play.

In a Facebook post sighted by Hotfmghana.com , Nana Adwoa Annan, clad in Black Stars’ jersey said:

“So as for the Black Stars when they’re playing women must always put their hands on their heads in fear praying to God to sympathize with us for a win? When would we cross our legs and watch them play without going through anxiety ?

The popular broadcaster then thanked God for Ghana’s win. The Black Stars now need a win or draw in their final group match against Uruguay on Friday to advance into the next stage of the world’s most prestigious soccer event.
