The Ghana National Fire Service has cautioned the public about the usage of fires. The institution in a Facebook post disclosed that it has been involved in 191 fire-related cases since the start of 2023, hence, the situation is getting out of hand.
Below are some tips the service proposed to the public in fighting the fire situation in the country included never allowing flames to fill homes, offices, warehouses, workplaces, schools, hospitals, vehicles, and shops. Do not destroy the natural environment knowing that you have a huge responsibility in preventing undesired fires now.
”The fire and related incidents statistics look scary but with positive adjustments in our attitudes, we can change the trend to our advantage for a joyous and prosperous 2023”, the Service stated.
