The Fulani community in Kwahu Afram Plains, located in Ghana’s Eastern Region, has laid to rest four of their members who were gruesomely murdered and beheaded by unknown assailants in recent months.
The tragic incidents have left the community in mourning, as tensions continue to rise over the unexplained killings.
Several months ago, the first of these horrific events unfolded when three Fulani men were brutally attacked and decapitated.
Despite efforts by local authorities, no significant leads have emerged regarding the perpetrators.
Last weekend, the body of another Fulani man was discovered, also beheaded, bringing the total number of victims to four.
The latest victim has been buried alongside the previous victims, as the Fulani community grapples with the fear and sorrow that these violent attacks have brought to their area.
Their leadership has expressed deep concern over the safety of their members and called for justice.
Reporting on the matter, Isaac Osei provided further details on the AYEHU Show with Wofa Asamoah, shedding light on the disturbing trend of violence targeting the Fulani in Kwahu Afram Plains.
The community continues to seek answers and protection from the authorities.
