Gospel musician Celestine Donkor has advised fellow gospel musicians to detest competition among themselves.

The ‘Agbebolo’ hit maker seeks to urge each of them to love and support one another since that could be a reasonable sacrifice than to make one’s music a treat to another. The award-winning gospel artist, in an interview with TV3 emphasized on how other musicians behave towards others:

“I appreciate those who don’t see it as a competition but they see it as a ministry” she explained. She believes gospel artists not being able to click with others are as a result of unhealthy competition and shared jealousy.

To her all those who see the music as a competition are those who lack knowledge and do not understand what they are called for.

“If we say we are children of one God, then we should be happy with each other’s success” she concluded. The celebrated gospel musician is currently promoting her new single titled ‘Only You’ ahead of her yet to be released EP.
