The Assembly members of Mpatuam West and East electoral area in the Amansie West District of the Ashanti region, Hon.Dr.Frederick Nkansah, popularly known as Hon Yentumi (West) and Hon. Anthony Amankwah (East) has joined forces with their electorates to build an ultra-modern police Bungalow for yet to be commissioned police station at Mpatuam.
In a sod cutting ceremony held on the 3rd of September, 2022, Hon. Dr Frederick Nkansah stated that the project is expected to be completed in six months and the apartment will include five(5) bedrooms, a kitchen and two washrooms.
He also expressed that the project upon completion will serve as a household for the police. He also stated that the completed police station which was built a year ago is awaiting some final touches in the major areas such as the cells and the charge room. The project will be commissioned soon after all these are done.
Hon. Anthony Amankwah also explained that they did this to boost the security level in the constituency.
Lastly, they requested the support of everyone to seek the improvement of the community.
According to the contractor, Mr Abraham Nsiah of AA 79 construction limited who is constructing the project stated that the building is expected to be completed in six months and pledged to work thoroughly hard to complete it.
