The Member of Parliament for Ada, Madam Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe-Ghansah, has expressed her strong support for the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) policy to waive academic fees for first-year tertiary students.
She believes this initiative will provide significant relief to the youth of Ghana and reduce the financial burdens often placed on MPs who assist constituents with educational expenses.
NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama, during the launch of the party’s Youth Manifesto, announced the plan to make tertiary education free for level 100 students as part of the party’s strategy to ease the financial pressure on parents.
This policy, according to Cudjoe-Ghansah, will empower the country’s youth by making higher education more accessible.
The MP also took the opportunity to commend NDC’s running mate, Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyeman, for her exemplary leadership and compassionate approach, describing her as a motherly figure who supports people from all walks of life.
