Cuban born,Togolese Nigerian, Dancehall songstress, Maria Ruby Sodjinou is set to release her debut EP for 2022 .
As part of her ways to cement her name in the music industry, the budding songstress has changed her name from Rubyflashy to Fimy Baby.
Revealing the motive behind the change of name, Fimy Baby said the new name has a deep personal meaning.Sounding like a gospel musician, she added that she got the name from her dream.
Before rebranding to Fimy Baby, the Cuban had recorded and released songs including ‘Baayawa’ and ‘Break a Coin’. Ahead of the release of her EP, the budding dancehall songstress hopes to pave the way with ‘ Lock Down’.
Fimy started her professional career in music in 2020 .
