Fatai Odunsin, father of Grammy-nominated singer Asake, has confirmed that he has reconciled with his son after publicly accusing him of neglect.

The controversy erupted after Odunsin, who is battling a stroke, made a public appeal for financial assistance. His plea was further amplified by accusations from family members, who alleged that Asake had abandoned both his father and an alleged baby mama.

In a recent interview with content creator Mr Lilgaga, Odunsin provided an update, revealing that Asake had settled all his outstanding hospital bills.

Additionally, the singer is making arrangements to buy him a house in Lagos, addressing a major concern raised during his public outcry.

Odunsin explained that his initial decision to call out Asake stemmed from frustration over their lack of communication.

However, following the controversy, the ‘Terminator’ hitmaker reached out, assured him of his commitment to his well-being, and vowed to cater to all his needs.
