The Ghana Police Service has announced the arrest of six additional individuals linked to the recent attack on the Ayawaso West Wuogon New Patriotic Party (NPP) office in Accra, Greater Accra region.
This brings the total number of suspects apprehended to seven.
In a statement released on July 10, 2024, the police detailed that the six suspects—Alhaji Issah Kamara, Theophilus Kodzo Bedzra, Abdulai Victoria Naematu Nadolie, Hope Adzrah, Francis Agbessi Funu, and Christian Biakuse—are currently in custody and assisting with the investigation.
The attack, which resulted in significant property damage, occurred on July 7, 2024.
The police emphasized their commitment to justice, stating, “We would like to assure the public that all other suspects will be arrested and brought to face justice.”
The swift response by the authorities highlights their determination to resolve the incident and maintain order.
As the investigation continues, the police are urging anyone with information related to the attack to come forward and assist in the ongoing efforts to bring all responsible parties to justice.
