The head coach of Ghana Black Galxaxies, Daniel Annor Walker, has reportedly been sacked by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in a viral local media reportage.
The Black Galaxies were booted out from the Ghana CHAN 2022 competition last Saturday after they failed to beat Niger in the quarterfinals.
The players together with the sacked coach would arrive in Ghana on Tuesday and reports from deep throats sources within the FA say, the former coach of Accra Great Olympics has been fired even before the arrival of the team in Ghana.
Before the Tournament in Algeria, many football enthusiasts and sports journalists questioned his squad for the tournament after omitting some notable names who have been playing creditably well in the BetPawa Premier League.
Former Coach Annor Walker failed to qualify his team for the semi-finals of the tournament. Angry fans have also called for the early resignation of the CEO of the GFA, Kurt Okuraku, for alleged poor managerial skill within the Association.
Annor Walker previously coached Ghanaian teams, Nania FC, Kpando Hearts of Lions, and Berekum Chelsea.
