The Member of Parliament for Dormaa Central, John Kwame Adu Jack, has urged drivers to exercise caution on the roads as the festive season approaches.
In a statement, Adu Jack emphasized the importance of defensive driving, advising motorists to consider themselves as the only human being on the road while treating all other road users with caution. He said any vehicle, bicycle, tricycle, or pedestrian encountered should be regarded as a potential hazard.
He cautioned that the rush to get home during the festive season should not lead to reckless driving, stressing that it is better to arrive safely than to risk accidents.
The MP also used the opportunity to wish his constituents a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, noting that the season is a time for joy and celebration. He encouraged all drivers to prioritize safety and be mindful of other road users during the holidays.
