National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi, has urged party supporters to refrain from premature celebrations as vote collation continues across the country.
Addressing the press, he emphasized the need for vigilance and collective action to secure the integrity of the election results.
Gyamfi called on NDC supporters, sympathizers, and polling agents to assemble at designated constituency collation centers and accompany election officials transporting ballot boxes and electoral materials. He stressed the critical role of party agents in ensuring transparency and protecting the results at every collation stage.
“You have the responsibility to protect the results. Do not jubilate until the results have been officially declared and signed by our agents,” he stated firmly.
He further accused the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of plotting to manipulate election results through ballot box snatching and falsification of pink sheets. He called on NDC agents and executives at all levels to remain alert, cautious, and ready to counter any acts aimed at compromising the election process.
“The NPP is desperate. When dealing with a vicious and desperate group, you need to be vigilant until the last vote is counted and the results officially declared,” Gyamfi warned.
The NDC has placed its agents and party executives nationwide on high alert as the collation process progresses, urging members to capture photographic evidence of declared results to ensure transparency.
