Residents of the North-Eastern part of the capital, Accra are expected to experience power cuts effective today, Monday, May 10, 2021.
A statement by the State-power distributor said the power cut is necessary to enable its contractors undertake some works to improve power supply in Accra.
According to the ECG, power will be interrupted between 6:00am and 6:00pm, as well as 6:00pm and 6:00am within the scheduled period. This will occur in more than forty communities, which have been placed in four different groups – A, B, C and D.
Power is expected to stabilize by May 17, 2021.
