Ghanaian actor and businessman, John Dumelo, has confirmed to run for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Parliamentary seat again under the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The actor confirmed his intentions on social media on Sunday, February 26 in the 2024 General Elections.
”After an extensive consultation with my God, my family and our party faithfuls in Ayawaso West Wuogon! This’s the second coming. #Still IDey4you” Dumelo stated.
The young politician will be locking a duel with his colleague actor and producer, Fred Nuamah, also under the NDC at the Ayawaso West Wuogon for the primaries.
For John Dumelo, this is not his first time in the contest. In the 2020 elections, he ran for the constituency seat on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) but lost to the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Lydia Seyram Alhassan during the general election.
Dumelo is very confident about representing Ayawaso West Wuogon in Parliament come 2025.
