Accra Hearts of Oak has defeated a lower-division side Gap Soccer Academy in a 6-nil friendly today. The win is to boost the team’s confidence and prepare them against the Malian side Real Bamako in a return leg tie this Sunday after suffering a humiliating defeat away.
The Phobians suffered a cerebral 3-0 defeat in Mali in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup. The Accra-based team would need to score at least four goals to be in the CAF competition.
