Former Board member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Isaac Tetteh, also known as TT Brothers, has reiterated his commitment to promoting honesty within the football sector in Ghana.

Now the new owner of Akatsi All Stars, Tetteh is dedicated to ensuring transparency in the management of the sport.

In a recent interview, he expressed concern over the ongoing challenges plaguing Ghanaian football, particularly the issues of corruption and unethical practices that hinder the sport’s growth.

Tetteh pointed out that favoritism and financial influence have too often played a role in determining match outcomes, undermining the integrity of the game. He highlighted that such practices, where money is used to sway decisions, must be eradicated for football to thrive. The former board member emphasized that it is crucial for everyone involved in the sport to act with honesty and integrity.

“You can’t use money to cheat your brother. Some believe that if you refuse to engage in such practices, you are foolish, but many, including myself, will stand firm against such corruption,” Tetteh said during an interview on Asempa FM.

His comments serve as a call for a renewed focus on ethical standards, signaling a shift towards better governance in Ghanaian football.

The seasoned football administrator’s remarks underscore the need for a more transparent and accountable football system, one that prioritizes merit and ethical values over monetary gain.

He hopes that by remaining steadfast in his beliefs, he will inspire others to follow suit in a bid to restore football’s true spirit in the country.
