Nigerian actress Tonto Dikeh has made a declaration during a gospel ministration in Tanzania, as part of her new Christian trajectory.
She reflected on the drastic changes in her life, describing her past struggles openly.
“From a drug addict to an altar that praises God, from a devil worshipper to a woman that God can trust,” Dikeh said.
She admitted that she often questioned why she was chosen for this path.
“I keep asking myself sometimes, God, why me? And all I hear is, why not you?” she said.
For Dikeh, her answer is a call to boldly share her faith.
“Who will be bold enough to proclaim my name? Who will be bold enough to take my grace and go into the world and preach the gospel?”
“I am the product of grace, the product of His love, the product of mercy,” she explained.
“Mercy is not what God does, but mercy is who my Saviour is. He is merciful today, He is merciful tomorrow, and He is going to be merciful all the time.”
