The Kwahu Nkwatia Nkosuohene, Nana Owiredu Wadie, marked the Christmas and New Year festivities by supporting over 500 widows, elderly individuals, and persons with disabilities in Kwahu Nkwatia, Eastern Region. Through his Kabaka Foundation, he distributed essential food items as part of his annual initiative to bring joy to vulnerable members of the community.
Speaking on behalf of Nana Owiredu Wadie, Henry Larbi, the Executive Director of the Kabaka Foundation, emphasized the gesture’s intent to show appreciation and brighten the festive season for those in need. “This initiative seeks to put smiles on the faces of the aged, widows, and people living with disabilities during this special season,” Mr. Larbi stated.
The donated items included bags of rice, cooking oil, canned fish, tomato paste, and live chickens. These essential supplies brought relief to the beneficiaries, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to Nana Owiredu Wadie for his unwavering commitment to their well-being.
