A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) communication team, Adu Frimpong, has made a bold prediction regarding the impact of the current administration.
Speaking on Hot 93.9FM’s ‘Hot Morning Ride’ show hosted by Oman Nana, Adu Frimpong claimed that President John Dramani Mahama’s achievements will eventually overshadow those of Ghana’s first president, Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah.
Adu Frimpong asserted that the true scale of the President’s success will be undeniable by the end of his term.
“By 2028, Ghanaians will realise they voted for an incredible and reliable leader,” he told the host.
He argued that the current climate of the country justifies the public’s desire for the President’s continued leadership, stating, “Everything is going well in the country, unlike during the NPP’s tenure.”
Central to Frimpong’s argument is the ongoing reconstruction of the Tema Motorway.
He cited the project as a clear indicator of the NDC’s commitment to development compared to the previous administration.
The outspoken NDC communicator criticised the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) for failing to take action on the motorway during their time in power.
He noted that the NDC prioritised the project immediately upon taking office, which he believes serves as a testament to the party’s efficiency.
