Afrobeats singer and entrepreneur, Mr Eazi, has said that marrying a good spouse is crucial for success.
The ‘Leg Over’ crooner, in an interview with a Gambian content creator, credited his lover, Temi Otedola, as a key element in his achievements, stating that “marrying a good wife” is one of the principles of success.
“What do you think the principles of success are?” the interviewer asked
“Marrying a good wife”, Mr. Eazi replied.
He also advised young men to cultivate essential qualities such as discipline, patience, and the fear of God to navigate life’s challenges and stay focused on their goals.
He emphasised that these traits are vital for achieving success in any field.
When asked about the challenges that have defined his success in the music industry, Mr Eazi revealed that overcoming doubt and second-guessing has been a significant hurdle.
“The difficulty of unbelief when you’re being second-guessed, you could turn it into something that drives you as well”, he said.
However, he said he has learned to channel these negative sentiments into motivation, driving him to work harder and prove his doubters wrong.
“if you’re born in Nigeria, more often than not, you have that drive to go get it, and you’ve that self-belief. I don’t know how to explain it. You just see it in a Nigerian, even in the way we walk. The audacity. Maybe, it’s in the eba and soup”, he said.
