The Ghana Police Service has initiated a manhunt for individuals involved in an attack on the New Patriotic Party (NPP) office in Ayawaso West Wuogon.
The incident occurred on Sunday, July 7, 2024, resulting in the destruction of several properties, including two vehicles.
In an official statement posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, the police assured the public of their commitment to apprehending those responsible.
“We would like to assure the public that the perpetrators will be arrested to face justice,” the statement read.
The attack has raised concerns among the local community and party members, who are urging the authorities to ensure swift and decisive action. The police have called for anyone with information about the incident to come forward to aid in the investigation.
