Popular UK-based Ghanaian afro-gospel musician, Joseph Matthew has cautioned the Black Stars ahead of their final group H match against Uruguay in the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The Black Stars take on their Uruguayan counterparts today, December 2,2022 at 3pm. The stars have so far managed to pick up 3 points in two games , losing narrowly to Portugal before dispatching South Korea 3-2 in the Second game
Now , the Black Stars must beat Uruguay to automatically reach the round of 16. Expressing his view on the match , Joseph Matthew cautioned the Ghanaian team to remain disciplined till the end of the game.
According to the ‘Blessed’ hitmaker, if the Black Stars would play shabbily like they did in their first two games against Portugal and South Korea, they will surely lose against the Uruguayans .
Joseph Matthew, whose current hit song ‘Blessed’ has been tipped to win the ‘Record Of The Year’ award at the 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Award warned the players not to overly focus on Uruguay’s striker Suarez .
“Suarez is not our problem. We lack discipline and composure that has to change in this game period …We have more than enough quality to beat Uruguay but we must keep the discipline and composure for 90 minutes”. He wrote on instagram
