The jobs range from low to highly skilled for men and women aged 22-35, and in some cases 22-40 years.
SOS, in addition, has jobs for caregivers in Canada and for kitchen helpers, waitresses and hotel room attendants in Albania.
SOS, in partnership with Nekotech Center, its training arm, also has 3000 work study openings in STEM AI MBA in 12 developer countries around the world, including
US, Canada, UK and Australia- the package is only for first degree holders who have completed national service and have with GPA of 3.0/ 4.0 in any field. The package comes with a no-collateral loan to pay tuition, plus an opportunity to own a home in Ghana in partnership with Fidelity Bank and SOS.
The team met with the Ministry of Labour, Jobs and Employment, to announce the first rollout of 1000 jobs out of 8500 jobs for Ghanaian youth.
These first jobs are calling for 800 men: general labourers, okada drivers and warehouse helpers and 200 women – utility helpers, factory hands, with no experience necessary.
The salary for the utility helper factory hands is $881/ month, which is over Gh13,000. This package includes a free ticket and free accommodation in the UAE. The general labourer jobs for men range from $250 to $400/ month
Candidates are responsible for their medicals and online international migrant training.

Candidates will be pre-qualified online within minutes. Qualified candidates will proceed with online coaching, and then online interviews will take place to enable them to proceed to pre-medicals upon selection.
The employers for the utility helper jobs will arrive in Ghana in the first week of May to confirm all hired candidates and to meet with the Ghana Government for more jobs in the near future.
The delegation was invited by the Minister of Labour, Jobs and Employment, Hon. Rashid Pelpuo, to meet with the Ministry to discuss a collaboration in fulfillment of the NDC Manifesto’s second pillar of jobs for the youth.
He, Dr. Ocansey, indicated, “We are pleased to inform you of job opportunities for five hundred (200) Women and (800) eight hundred Men in the UAE.
This meeting at the ministry is also to officially launch the JDM Special Migrant Housing Initiative Program. It is the first of its kind in Ghana.
JDM stands for Jobs for Development Migration – a new phenomenon in migration fully aligned with 5 of the 7 pillars of the NDC Manifesto 2024.
This enables workers to go abroad to work overseas, while homes are built for them, creating a x10 multiplier effect, creating more jobs! We have an opportunity to provide 200 women and 800 men with decent work in the UAE.

The Employers will be arriving in Ghana during the first Week of May 2025, for an in-person interview of the pre-selected candidates for final vetting.
