The criminal investigation department of the Greater Accra Region has arrested a surveyor by name Christian Agodzo for defrauding an 87-year-old visually impaired man in the pretext of securing land documents for him.
The CID together with the executive producer of Hot FM Ayehu show, Mama Sylvia arrested the suspect Christian Agodzo at Adentan . Mr Abraham Tsuru the blind man while sharing his ordeal on the ‘Aye HU’ show hosted by Nana Ampofo said Christian collected the GHC37, 000 to help acquire land documents for him.
According to the visually impaired man, as soon as Christian Agodzo collected the said amount from him, he went into hiding:
” Immediately he took the money from me 4 years ago, anytime calls Christian,he tells me stories upon stories. He kept deceiving me, he would sometimes ignore my calls… and these have been going on for the past four years now”. The visually impaired man sadly revealed.
The accused, Christian Agodzo has so far been arrested by the criminal investigation department of the Greater Accra Region . Christian admitted to have taken the said amount from the blind man after being interrogated by the Police.
