A member of the communications team of the opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC),Chris Dugan has made a staggering revelation that the day any member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) would speak the truth he or she will die.
It would be recalled that, during President Akufo-Addo’s eighth address of the nation on measures the government was taking to curb the spread of the novel Coronavirus on Sunday, April 26,2020, he promised Ghanaians 88 new districts hospitals across the country within one year – but the president is yet to fulfill the promise.
Speaking as a panelist on political talk show, HardBall’ – hosted by Kwabena Owusu Agyemang on Accra-based Hot 93.9FM, Chris Dougan who was asked to reveal one thing President Akufo-Addo has done which the latter must be commended for said:
“Owusu, didn’t I tell you the day any member of the NPP will speak the truth Muslims would desist from washing their hands and feet before they pray?…haven’t I told you?…The day any member of the NPP will speak the truth he or she will die…that is a taboo to them”. Chris Dougan stressed
He continued,” People are dying of this deadly disease(Covid-19), the president came and promised to build 88 district hospitals…where are the hospitals?…up till now not even a pharmacy has been built”.
According to Chris Doughan, President Akufo-Addo and the NPP government are only good at peddling lies hence they have done nothing pleasing to be commended for.
