Celebrated Ghanaian female television and radio broadcast journalist, Dr. Joyce Akumaa Dongotey-Padi affectionately called Akumaa Mama Zimbi has endorsed the latest hit song of award-winning Afro-Gospel musician, Joseph Matthew (JM) dubbed ‘Not Alone’.
Produced by award-winning sound engineer, Francis Osei, Joseph Matthew’s ‘Not Alone’ is a mid-tempo with beautiful rhythm and drum beats to match. It’s actually a contemporary combination that is finely mixed with a metropolitan highlife groove with Afro-beat and rap.
Endorsing the ‘Not Alone’ song, Akumaa Mama Zimbi, who is also a women’s rights activist posted the visuals on her instagram page and wrote: “Nice one there”.
Shot in London by award-winning director Martin Sean, the music video is dominantly bright themed, with two beautiful sceneries that are meant to coordinate the story appropriately.
Just like the visuals for his hit songs “My Story ” and “Nyame Ye”, Joseph Matthew did not fail to sweep us off our feet with the aesthetic artwork, scenery and choreography.
As Ghana struggles to win her first Grammy Award, the song(Not Alone) has been heavily tipped by most entertainment pundits as one of the songs with the potential of breaking that jinx.
