Former Hearts of Oak’s striker, Kofi Kordzi has revealed candidly that Kim Grant is his best coach ever.
Kim Grant who signed Kofi Kordzi for Accra Hearts Of Oak was appointed as coach of the club in December 2018. Grant led the club to the semi-finals of the NC Special Tier 1 competition before losing on penalties to rivals Asante Kotoko.He was sacked after 12 months in charge of the 18 time Ghana Premier League Champions.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on popular sports show ‘Hot Focal Sports’ -hosted by Stonchist D’Blakk Soulja on Accra-based Hot 93.9FM in line with whom his best coach is, Kofi Kordzi who now plies his footballing trade at Muaither SC in Qatar, named Gim Grant as his best coach ever:
“ I will say Kim Grant is my best coach ever.Because of how he worked on my work rate…and my movement”.Kofi Kordzi told Stonchist D’Blakk SouljaKofi
Kordzi, who played nineteen matches and scored eight goals for his team, Muaither SC in Qatar league this season added that:
” When I was playing for him, It got to a time i was usually coming into the game in the second half but he (Kim Grant) told me one day that ,it’s not about whether you playing in the first half or not but the impact you put into the game when you come in
…so whether one minute you play for everyone to see that you are good… so I also told myself that even if I should get two minutes I would show the qualities I am made of.”
