A seven-month pregnant woman named Mary has found hope at Chosen Rehab Center after a desperate journey to Accra.
Speaking to Nana Adwoa Annan of Bullet TV, Mary, while sharing the precarious condition she was living in, disclosed that the father of her unborn child had been arrested months ago for theft, leaving her alone and destitute.
Compounding her situation, Mary admitted she had not received any prenatal care or visited a hospital during her pregnancy.
Following her story on Bullet TV, Mary was taken to Chosen Rehab Centre for proper care.
Speaking on the issue, the Director of Chosen Rehab Centre, Abena Washington, stressed the critical need for the government’s intervention to support vulnerable women by advocating for the implementation of policies that directly address their needs.
Director Washington and the housemates warmly welcomed Mary, offering a glimmer of hope in her otherwise bleak situation
