Nigeria’s Minister of Sports, Sunday Dare has charged his players to beat Ghana in-front of their own fans in Kumasi in the first leg of the World Cup play-off on Friday.
The Super Eagles will arrive in Ghana on Thursday before Friday’s blockbuster encounter.
After Tuesday’s training in Lagos, the Minister who was confident of victory over the Black Stars met the players and charge them to go all out for a win.
“We are not going to play draw in Ghana, honestly, we are going to beat the sh*t out of them,” he said. “There is insurance there and there is insurance here,” he added.
Nigeria are expected to touch down on Thursday and will also hold a mandatory training that same day before Friday’s game.
Meanwhile, the Black Stars held their first training at the Baba Yara Sports stadium on Tuesday and will have two sessions on Wednesday.
Ghana will host the Super Eagles on March 25, 2022 in the first leg of their double header before travelling to the Mashood Abiola stadium four days later for the second leg.
