Award-winning UK-based Ghanaian Afro-Gospel musician, Joseph Matthew (JM) has been nominated for ‘UK-Based New Artiste Of The Year’ at this year’s Gospel Music Awards UK.
Hosted by Doreen Avio and Blaquebuoy, the list was unveiled at a ceremony held on Friday, July 1, 2022, at the Omanye Hall, Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.
JM, who has been nominated in the ‘New Artiste Of The Year ’ Category with his hit song ‘Not Alone’ has been really active and vibrant in the year under review.
He faces stiff competition from KK Mensah, Nana Yaw Yeboah,Anointed Betty Naomi Assani, Fresh Andy ,Kay Bryn, Kingsley Rymz, and TheOnlyRLS.
Speaking to Hotfmghana.com , JM, with much elation said,”I’m happy to bag this nomination….It’s feels good to be recognised …Fans of JM and every music lover have now till October, when the main event will be held, to vote for me via the short code *447*2022# …I will entreat all of them to vote massively for me in order for me to win the category”.

The 6th edition of the Ghana Music Awards UK will be held on October 29, 2022. Joseph Matthew(JM) is currently promoting his newest hit song “Blessed’ .
