An Accra High Court has placed an injunction on the final funeral rites of the late Charles Kwadwo Fosuh known popularly as Daddy Lumba.
The court acknowledged that although postponing the funeral will come at a cost, all family members must be involved.
The court affirmed that although the family head is the head of the family, he needs to take decisions in consultation with other members of the country.
It therefore ordered the first respondent to convene a stakeholder meeting within three weeks to agree on a new burial date.
The court further directed that all funds raised for the funeral be separated from the Daddy Lumba Memorial Foundation account. The applicants were also instructed to file an affidavit with the court registrar.
