Founder of King Faisal Babies, Alhaji Karim Grusah has uncharacteristically lauded referee Eric Sefa Antwi for officiating King Faisal versus Aduana Stars FC’s match at Dormaa expertly.
King Faisal, broke Aduana Stars FC’s jinx of not losing their home matches after beating the Dormaa-based team by three goals to one in the second match of the ongoing 2021/22 Ghana Premier League on Sunday , November 7,2021.
Reacting to King Faisal’s win on ‘Hot Focal Sports’ show hosted by Stonchist D’Blakk Soulja on Accra-based Hot 93.9FM, Alhaji Grusah who is not fond of praising Ghanaian referees uncharacteristically hailed referee Eric Sefa Antwi for officiating the match expertly.
“It was a very good game yesterday at the Dormaa park but I must say that my boys played so well and the victory was very deserved…The referee was very good; he did so well on the day”. Alhaji Grusah said on Hot FM
Alhaji Grusah who was in high spirit emphasised candidly that, “If Ghana will continue to have such good performances from officiating officials then our football will surely get to the level we all expected”.
” I remember the days of referee Justice Abban who frequently was representing Ghana in AFCON, I believe we must get to that level again and let’s also not forget Mr Alex Kotey who is referees manager now at GFA, he is doing so well to lift the image of referees again” he stated.
