The 1st National Vice Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party[NPP], Danquah Smith-Buttey, has made an astonishing revelation that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia does not have good advisors.
The NPP organised a Thank-You tour, which was led by the Party’s 2024 presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
The tour, aimed at expressing his and the party’s gratitude to the executives, members, and the entire nation for their support prior to and during the 7th December 2024 elections, was plagued with many controversies.
One of the controversies involved Dr. Bawumia, who, while addressing party faithful, accused some elements within their administration of sabotaging his election chances by increasing the price of petrol three days before the election.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on the Hot Morning Drive show, hosted by Don Kwabena Prah on Accra-based Hot 93.9FM, the 1st National Vice Chairman of the NPP, Danquah Smith Buttey, indicated that the aim of the Thank You tour was not achieved.
According to Chairman Buttey, “I don’t believe the Thank You Tour achieved its intended purpose.”
The First National Vice Chairman of the NPP argued that the tour should have focused on propagating the party’s achievements, not revealing internal conflicts.
In a solemn mood, Chairman Buttey alleged that, based on what Dr. Bawumia said, he believes the former vice president doesn’t have good advisors.
