The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced a new date for the 2024 Voters Exhibition Exercise.
Initially set to begin on August 1, the exercise has been postponed to start on August 20 and will run until August 27, 2024.
In a press release, the EC explained that the rescheduling was necessary to accommodate the mop-up voter registration exercise, which is scheduled to take place from August 1 to August 3, 2024.
“The Exhibition of the Provisional Voters Register has been rescheduled,” the Commission stated on Wednesday.
The EC is encouraging all eligible citizens to participate in the Exhibition Exercise to verify their details and confirm their eligibility to vote in the upcoming elections.
This step is crucial to ensure that the voters’ register is accurate and up-to-date.
