The Accra Sports Stadium witnessed close to 36000 out of its 40000 seater capacity filled on Xmas day with an event headlined by the leaders of the Shatta Movement Family and Stubborn Acadamey Fans, Shatta Wale and Medikal, respectively.
The event titled Freedom Wave Concert grabbed lots of attention across the country following an argument that feud amongst Ghanaian and Nigerian music lovers on who could fill event capacities sing better and more between Shatta Wale and Nigerian singer, Wizkid.
Earlier on, Shatta Wale had called on his old militants and Bulldog, his former manager at BullHaus Entertainment to come and support him despite their beef.
All the same, Africa Dancehall king, Shatta Wale last night made Ghana proud as he proved to Wizkid he could fill a Nigerian stadium after He (Wizkid) failed to be present at a show he previously venue at the Accra Sports Stadium.
It took like forever to have the Already hitmaker to make an appearance on stage, however, predominant acts like 2022 VGMA Highlife song winner Kofi Kinaata, Wendy Shay, Keche, Dope Nation, La Meme Gang, Kofi Jamar and many more kept the crowd alive for their king to arrive.
Ghanaians have shown readiness to patronize made-in-Ghana products and Shatta Wale and his team is one of them. Local Champion for a reason.
