Celebrated Canada-based Ghanaian gospel musician, Minister Ike is set to receive an honorary award at this Year’s Mano River Awards in Canada.
The event which seeks to recognize the achievements of African musicians living in Canada has Minister Ike as the only Ghanaian to be honored at this year’s much publicised Canadian event.
The event which will take place on September 24, at Serbian Hall in the city of Edmonton, will see other musicians from other African countries such as Guinea, Cote d’ivoire and Sierra Leone being awarded .
Over the years, Minister Ike has won many international awards. In 2016, the “Onyame Gya” hitmaker won his first honorary award as Gospel music personality at the 3G Awards in New York.
He again won his second honorary award for 2016 on 28th November as the Best Gospel Artiste of the year at the APan African Awards in Ohio.
He is currently regarded as not just the most popular Canada-based Ghanaian gospel artist but best Ghanaian musician in Canada. Minister Ike, is out with his debut single track for 2022 dubbed ‘Only God’.
