The Greater Accra Regional Circles Council(GARCC), under the National Circles Council(NCC) of Kumasi Asante Kotoko football club has honoured their ‘5 Containers’ pledge made toward the Asante Kotoko ‘prefab project’ in the Adako Jache district at Ejisu.
The Adako Jachie project seeks to refurbish the training facility for Asante Kotoko football club, which has been in a deplorable state. First Vice Chairman of the NCC, Nana Kwame Dankwah revealed exclusively on Hot 93.9 FM’s Focal Sports morning show hosted by Bigality that 4 out of 5 40ft containers that were pledged have been delivered to bolster the prefab project.
The pledge was redeemed under the auspices of the NCC chairman, Christopher Demanya and some patrons of the NCC: Mr Francis Ofori Mensah (Pusher), Mr Kwadwo Saka (Saka Homes) and Dr Emmanuel Bortey Borketey (CEO Charger Ltd).
Individuals and groups have made pledges, many of which are yet to be redeemed. The Real Kum Apem WhatsApp Group have paid full payment of Ghc 2000 for fifty containers, while Circle group has made a partial payment of Ghc 300 for their pledge of 10 cements.
