Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid, has stated that he does not joke with his brand pertaining to safety and production in an apologetic Twitter Post cited by HotFmGhana.
The Nigerian musician was not present at a show he headlined during the week at the Accra Sports Stadium. Entertainment fans were left disappointed as they paid an enormous amount of money for table reservations to attend the Grammy award winner display of his talented artwork on stage.
Social media users have reacted to the behaviour of the legendary musician as disrespectful and unfair to his Ghanaian fans.
Meanwhile, the most awarded African artist at the BET Awards has apologised to Ghanaians for not attending the WIZKIDLIVE CONCERT.
According to Wizkid, the production team saw his brand as a joke and explained his alleged behaviour as unintended. He also stated that he respected Ghana and was working on delivering a show to his fans.
However, the WizkidLiveConcert which also featured Ghanaian talents like R2Bs, Efya, KelvinBoy, Gyakie, Darkovibes, and Kingpromise were allegedly absent leaving an angry feud among fans.
