Division One side, Okwawu United has debunked the claim that the Head of Sports for F.P Communications (Hot 93.9 FM), Nana Kwame Dankwah (NKD) has been appointed as the club’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
It was earlier sourced by one of the authentic sports media outlets, Ghana Soccernet, that NKD has been elevated as the CEO of the Nkawkaw-based club and is set to resume office on Monday, 16th October 2023.
However, the club has taken to its social media handle to describe the news as fake regardless of confirmation by their Operation Manager, Emmanuel Osei Asomani in an interview with a traditional media.
“Nana Kwame Dankwah has been named as CEO by management of the club. After our game against Hohoe United, he will officially start work as CEO on Monday, October 16 to steer affairs at the club,” Asomani said to Rainbow FM according to a publication by Ghana Soccernet.
Meanwhile, the club is yet to address the issue officially.
