In a heartfelt message to all candidates preparing for this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo expressed his confidence in the students’ abilities to succeed and urged them to approach the examination with honesty and integrity.

Speaking on Sunday, President Akufo-Addo emphasized the importance of eschewing any form of examination malpractice.

The President encouraged the candidates to approach each paper with a clear mind, to answer the questions to the best of their ability, and to trust the knowledge and skills they have acquired over the years.

“Approach each paper with a clear mind and answer the questions to the best of your ability,” he advised, underscoring the value of integrity in their academic endeavors.

Highlighting the government’s Free Senior High School (SHS) policy, President Akufo-Addo reminded students that this initiative provides every student with the opportunity to continue their education and pursue their dreams.

“The Free SHS policy ensures that every student has the chance to further their education and achieve their aspirations,” he noted, reinforcing the administration’s commitment to educational equity.

President Akufo-Addo also urged the students to stay focused, remain calm, and give their best effort. He reassured them that the nation stands behind them and expressed pride in the young men and women they are becoming.

“Stay focused, remain calm, and give your best effort. The nation is behind you, and we are proud of the young men and women you are becoming,” the President stated.

In conclusion, President Akufo-Addo wished all the BECE candidates the best of luck in their examinations, encouraging them to uphold the values of hard work and honesty.

“Best of luck to you all!” he declared, sending his heartfelt best wishes to all the candidates as they embark on this important academic journey.
