In Accra and its surrounding areas, light rain showers will persist throughout the day, with temperatures ranging between 23°C and 27°C. Similar weather is forecasted for Ada, Akim Oda, Akuse, and Axim, where light rain and mild temperatures from the mid-20s to high-20s Celsius will prevail.
Northern regions, including Bole and Wa, will encounter thunderstorms, potentially affecting daily activities and transportation. Residents are advised to take precautions against potential flooding and lightning.
Central Ghana, including Kumasi and Sunyani, will also see light to moderate rain, with temperatures around 29°C during the day and dropping to 22°C at night.
Western coastal areas like Takoradi will experience light rain as well, with temperatures staying between 23°C and 28°C, providing a cooler climate compared to the usual tropical heat.
Overall, it’s a day for carrying umbrellas and being prepared for wet conditions. Farmers, particularly in areas such as Tamale and Yendi, should take note of the forecast as it could affect their activities.
