Controversial man of God, Rev. Owusu Bempah has returned to prison cells after he was rushed to the Police Hospital last night when he got sick and he would be spending the next few days there till his next court hearing on the 20th September.
Although it’s not clear what sort of illness it was that got him at the hospital, it’s obvious that being remanded in police custody was perhaps too shocking for the man of God and it’s being purported that,
“Owusu Bempah was calling on his friends in higher offices within the corridors of power to plead with them to get at least the handcuffs off his hand as he receives medical attention but that proved futile.”
He was later discharged after doctors treated him for an undisclosed illness.
Rev. Owusu Bempah was charged with offensive conduct conducive to breach of peace, the threat of death, and assault of office public officers when he appeared in court yesterday, 13th September 2021.
