The EIB Network, which owns GHOne Television, has completed a comprehensive inquiry into a leaked video involving the esteemed host Serwaa Amihere and has cleared her of any misconduct.
The investigation, which was thorough and transparent, aimed to address the widespread attention and calls for disciplinary action that the video had initially ignited on social media.
In a press release dated July 5th, 2024, EIB Network confirmed the findings: “After a comprehensive and impartial inquiry, the committee found no evidence of misconduct or policy breaches by Serwaa Amihere concerning the dissemination of the video.”
Following this, Serwaa Amihere addressed the incident publicly, expressing regret for any embarrassment caused to her family, employers, associates, and the brands she represents.
She shared that the footage had been recorded half a decade earlier and admitted that she had not fully grasped her future impact and societal significance at that point in time.
The resolution of this investigation marks a significant step in restoring Serwaa Amihere’s professional standing.
