Social media users have reacted to a viral video of one of America’s favourite rappers Meek Mill where a lady was sighted hiding from the camera scene regardless of the musician’s fame on his arrival to Accra ahead of the Afronation concert.
Apart from covering her head with a scarf, the lady was clinging to Meek Mill’s back and swerved the camera to stop it from fully capturing her face. Meek Mill, noted for his magnificent bike lifestyle in the hoods of Philadelphia, PA glanced at the internet riding with Ghanaian bikers.
The Pennsylvania rapper announced his coming to Ghana on Twitter a few months ago. The former Maybach Music Group (MMG) signee meek Mill proved his doubters wrong after his first arrival to the West African country as he was denied a few years ago following a probation case in the States.
However, the lady in the viral video has been spotted and social media users are baffled on why a lady would hide from the camera amidst rappers’ fame and power.
Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill would be the first American to join a bill, marking his first significant appearance in Africa to perform on 29th December alongside Tiwa Savage, P-Square, Kuami Eugene, Gyakie, Oxlade and others. Other artists on the lineup include Davido, Stonebwoy, P-Square, Rema, Black Sherif, CKay, Gyakie, Camidoh, KiDi, Asake and many others at Marine Drive of the Black Star Square in Accra.
In other news, the 35-year-old rapper posted bail for 20 incarcerated women so they could Spend the Holidays With family. “No child should be without their parents during this time if we can do something about it,” the rapper said.
