Popular Ghanaian comedian, Derrick Kobina Bonney better known as DKB has indicated that award-winning UK-based afro gospel Musician, Joseph Matthew deserves to bag nomination at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA) with his hit single track dubbed ‘Not Alone’ Nominations for the 23rd annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards are officially open.
The deadline for all artistes, artiste management, record labels, producers, instrumentalists, and music composers to file for their nominations is Friday ,February 18,2022.
In a video which has so far gone viral on social media, DKB indicated that, after listening to and watching the video of Joseph Matthew’s ‘Not Alone ‘ hit song, he deserves to earn a nomination at this year’s prestigious event.
According to DKB who is regarded as the best comedian in Ghana currently , “I know i am not too big on gospel but a little gospel i experience i try to push the artist…there is this guy called Joseph Matthew…contemporary gospel to the max!! ..Herh, gospel with swag and i came across this song of his called ‘Not alone’… oh my God; this song is delicious”. He said
DKB without mincing words added that,”Herh, VGMA, give him a nomination… if you are watching tag VGMA to give Joseph Matthew nomination .’Not alone..in fact Ghana ,Nigeria we are not alone …we are all suffering together “.
